Cine nu are un recruiter bun, să facă rost! De ce? Pentru că menține echilibrul pe tabla de șah! La birou, facem mutări peste mutări, zi de zi influențăm poziția și activitatea celorlalți colegi, avem de-a face și cu pioni, și cu “nebuni”, rege sau regină, după caz, uitând uneori însă că suntem parte din aceeași echipă, că purtăm aceeași culoare a pieselor. Unii jucători urmăresc să câștige de fiecare dată și să dea “mat” propriilor coechipieri, nerealizând însă faptul că șahul de la birou nu are același scop ca cel jucat acasă între prieteni sau la competiții: nu e vorba despre a câștiga jocul în detrimentul celuilalt, ci mai degrabă despre a lucra în echipă și despre a-ți coordona mișcările în așa fel încât să ajungi la un rezultat comun, benefic la nivel macro. E minunat să dai “mat”, dar competitorilor, nu colegilor!
În momentul în care un “jucător” părăsește echipa, se produce un dezechilibru – și aici intervine rolul sensibil al recruiterului, acela de a restabili cât mai rapid echilibrul în echipă, prin aducerea unui coleg nou în timp record sau, uneori, doar prin efortul susținut și prin colaborarea strânsă cu hiring managerul în încercarea de a recruta; chiar dacă în unele procese de recrutare rezultatele nu vin imediat, pe măsura efortului depus, e esențial pentru liniștea managerului să știe că cineva lucrează la procesul lui de recrutare (informarea și statusul constant sunt esențiale pentru o colaborare reușită), că lucrurile se mișcă și că situația lipsei unui coleg de echipă e doar una temporară. Până să se închidă procesul de recrutare, e important să “lucrezi” la liniștea echipei rămase fără jucător, prin comunicarea constantă și prin informarea privind fiecare etapă din proces. Acesta e secretul care transformă chiar și un “nebun” într-un aliat.
Recruiterul menține echilibrul pe tabla de șah pentru că se strecoară și prioritizează, face “salturi”, se transformă și în cal, și în rege, după caz, anticipează, comunică mult și oferă feedback, analizează și raportează. Nu urmărește nicidecum să dea “mat” prin acțiunile sale, ci mai degrabă să asigure resursele umane necesare unei desfășurări optime a jocului, cu șanse mari de reușită. În funcție de cât de bine “joacă” recruiterul, poate influența o mișcare câștigătoare la nivel macro. Atunci când compania a primit “șah” prin plecarea unui angajat cheie, stă în puterea recruiterului să facă o mișcare “smart”, care să deblocheze situația și astfel, jocul să poată merge mai departe!
